Velocity model boundary layer files (ASCII format) for Hess Deep from a 2003 combined MCS/OBS survey (EW0305)

This data set presents the boundary layer data for two-dimensional seismic P-wave velocity models derived from inversion of ocean bottom seismometer data collected at Hess Deep during 2003 Ewing cruise EW0305. The layer files are in ASCII format and contain three columns: Boundary number (1 = seafloor, 2 = Moho); Model distance (km); Depth below the sea surface (km). The data set was generated as part of the project called "Correlation of Seismic Structure with Observed Outcrop Geology: MCS/OBS Investigation of Hess Deep and Blanco Transform", with funding from NSF award OCE01-37286.
