Seismic P-wave velocity model (ASCII RAYINVR format) from a 1995 offshore Nicoya Peninsula seismic study (EW9502)
This data set was generated during an active-source seismic study of the Costa Rica convergent margin spanning the Middle America Trench and Nicoya Peninsula. The seismic study was part of a project called the Trans Isthmus Costa Rica Scientific Exploration of a Crustal Transect (TICOSECT). The MCS/OBS seismic survey was done in 1995 during Ewing cruise EW9502. The grid of seismic P-wave velocity is in the ASCII RAYINVR format. The format is described in the accompanying format document. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE94-02091.
