Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0717 (2007)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Subbottom Seismic system, Navigation system, Thermosalinograph, Fluorometer, and Meteorological Sensor during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0717 conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Ross MacPhee; Investigator(s): Dr. Ross MacPhee and Dr. David Barbeau). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Conductivity, Bathymetry, Fluorescence, Meteorological, Salinity, Temperature, Visible Radiation, Infrared Radiation, and Navigation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Vertebrate Paleontology of Livingston Island, South Shetlands, Antarctica and Collaborative Research: Testing the Polar Gateway Glaciation Hypothesis: the Kinematic, Sedimentary, Water-Mass, and Ice-Volume Record of Drake Passage Opening, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT06-36639 and ANT07-32995.
