Processed CHIRP SEG-Y sub-bottom data from the All-American Canal near Calexico, CA, April 2019
CHIRP sub-bottom data were collected in the Al American Canal, near Calexico, CA. The purpose of these data was to image deformation features in shallow sediments in the Imperial Fault system and surrounding regions, to understand strain partitioning and identify locations for geologic slip rate studies. These data were collected with an Edgetech 3200-XS SB-512i instrument in a floating frame. Data were lightly processed, including match filtering on board the instrument, and computing the envelope of the correlate. Funding was provided by the Southern California Earthquake Center grant #18119.
