Navigation (KML format) for CHIRP SEG-Y sub-bottom data from the All-American Canal near Calexico, CA, April 2019
Navigation data for the All American Canal CHIRP survey, compiled in a KML format. Data were collected near Calexico, CA in April 2019. The purpose of these data was to image deformation features in shallow sediments in the Imperial Fault system and surrounding regions, to understand strain partitioning and identify locations for geologic slip rate studies. The KML file presented here contains navigational data for each SEG-Y line, obtained from the pole-mounted Septentrio Altus NR3 GNSS receiver. Elevations are of the instrument transducer (corrected for frame and pole mount), and are given as meters relative to sea level. Funding was provided by the Southern California Earthquake Center grant #18119.
