Seismic:Reflection:MCS
Processed multichannel seismic data off North Carolina and Virginia, acquired during R/V Marcus G. Langseth expedition MGL1408 (2014) as part of the Eastern North America Community Seismic Experiment (ENAM)
Part of the Eastern North America Community Seismic Experiment (ENAM), this 2014 R/V Langseth expedition collected MCS data off North Carolina and Virginia while the R/V Endeavor collected OBS data. The goal was to collect data to image geological structures beneath the seafloor to learn about the evolution of continental margins and their geohazards. Funding was provided by NSF grants OCE-1347498, OCE-1348454, OCE-1348124, OCE-1348342, OCE-1348228, and OCE-1347310.
