Raw bathymetry data (KMALL format) from central Long Island Sound, survey LIS4-West-C, LIS Phase IV seafloor mapping, R/V Seawolf, September 2022
This is raw multibeam data in ".kmall" format collected in support of the Long Island Sound Cable Fund Seafloor Habitat Mapping Initiative, Phase IV. The survey area is located south of New Haven, CT. This is the raw data from one of the three surveys from which the Backscatter and Bathymetry grids in the LIS4A:SBU_Acoustics data collection were generated. This raw multibeam data is for the survey LIS4-West-C collected using a Kongsberg EM2040P MKII swath mapping echo-sounder system on R/V Seawolf in September, 2022. The KMALL data format is compatible with MB-System format 261. Vessel navigation is referenced to WGS84. Not to be used for Navigation.
