Processed Images of Near-Bottom AUV Sidescan Data from the East Pacific Rise at 9N Spreading Center Segment, acquired during R/V Atlantis expedition AT50-21 (2024)

This data set was acquired with an EdgeTech 2205 Sidescan Sonar on AUV Sentry during R/V Atlantis expedition AT50-21 conducted in 2024 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Jill McDermott, Investigators: Dr. Jill McDermott, Dr. Daniel Fornari). These data files are of TIFF image format and include Sidescan data that were processed after acquisition. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Monitoring hydrothermal fluids, crustal permeability and seafloor morphology in preparation for the next volcanic eruption at the East Pacific Rise, 9'50"N.
