Near-Bottom HOV Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature Data from the Costa Rica Seamounts, acquired during R/V Atlantis expedition AT37-13 (2017)
This data set was acquired with a Navigation System,Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-49 FastCAT CTD and Aanderaa Data Instruments 5331 Oxygen Optode Sensor on Submersible Alvin during R/V Atlantis expedition AT37-13 conducted in 2017 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Erik Cordes, Investigators: Dr. Erik Cordes, Dr. Lisa Levin, Dr. Victoria Orphan, Dr. Chris Roman, Dr. Gregory Rouse). These data files are of NDSF SCC Text File (ASCII) format and include Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature data that were processed after acquisition and sampled at 1Hz. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative research: Quantifying the biological, chemical, and physical linkages between chemosynthetic communities and the surrounding deep sea. Funding was provided by NSF Award: OCE16-35219.
