Near-Bottom HOV Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature Data from the Galapagos Islands, acquired during R/V Atlantis expedition AT50-09BC (2023)
This data set was acquired with a Navigation System,Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-49 FastCAT CTD and Aanderaa Data Instruments 5331 Oxygen Optode Sensor on Submersible Alvin during R/V Atlantis expedition AT50-09BC conducted in 2023 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Daniel Fornari, Investigators: Dr. Daniel Fornari, Dr. Michelle Taylor). These data files are of NDSF SCC Text File (ASCII) format and include Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature data that were processed after acquisition and sampled at 1Hz. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: High-resolution volcanic stratigraphy and geochemical evolution of the Galapagos Platform. Funding was provided by NSF Award: OCE19-50959.
