Near-Bottom HOV Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature Data from the East Pacific Rise at 9N Spreading Center Segment, acquired during R/V Atlantis expedition AT50-07 (2023)
This data set was acquired with a Navigation System,Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-49 FastCAT CTD and Aanderaa Data Instruments 5331 Oxygen Optode Sensor on Submersible Alvin during R/V Atlantis expedition AT50-07 conducted in 2023 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Daniel Fornari). These data files are of NDSF SCC Text File (ASCII) format and include Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature data that were processed after acquisition and sampled at 1Hz. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Monitoring hydrothermal fluids, crustal permeability and seafloor morphology in preparation for the next volcanic eruption at the East Pacific Rise, 9'50"N. Funding was provided by NSF Awards: OCE19-48936, OCE19-49485, OCE19-49938.
