GNSS Pseudorange data for GNSS-A in Hikurangi (2019-2024)
These data files were collected as part of GNSS-A operations on the Hikurangi Subduction Zone, and can provide estimates of crustal deformation rates along the plate boundary. The data were collected on missions starting in 2019 by a remotely-operated Wave Glider system. The Wave Glider collects GNSS data while ranging to an array of seafloor transponders. All of the GNSS-A sites are located on the accretionary prism. The RINEX files are in ASCII format and contain raw pseudoranges collected by the GNSS antenna aboard the Wave Glider. The file names identify the site and year. Some file names also include date and Wave Glider ID. The files were generated with NSF funding as part of the project called Along Strike Variation in Shallow, Offshore Strain Accumulation and Slow Slip at Hikurangi Subduction Margin, New Zealand, funded with NSF awards OCE-1754929 and OCE-1754767, and New Zealand Ministry for Business and Innovation Endeavour Research Fund, contract CO5X1605 to GNS Science.
