Escanaba Trough (Gorda Ridge) AUV mission 20140826m1 near-bottom raw sidescan and sub-bottom JSF files (2014)

This Escanaba Trough raw sidescan and sub-bottom data set was collected with an Edgetech 2205 sonar/sub-bottom system on MBARI Mapping AUV mission 20140826m1 (investigators Dave Caress, Dave Clague, Jennifer Paduan). The data files are in JSF MB-System-compatible format (mbio format 132) and contain raw sidescan and sub-bottom data that has not been merged with navigation. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2014 R/V Rachel Carson cruise RCSN204 (chief scientist Dave Caress). Funding was provided by a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to MBARI.
