MeBo raw temperature data at drill site B23702-3 off Montserrat collected during 2019 Meteor SEKT cruise M154-2
This temperature data set was acquired near the Lesser Antilles island of Montserrat during the 2019 Meteor cruise M154-2. Temperature values were measured at drill site B23702-3 down to 9 mbsf using a thermistor located on the MARUM-MeBo70 sonic logging tool. There are sometimes several temperature measurements at a particular depth because of the pauses whilst the pipe was racked as the sonic tool was pulled out of the formation. The data file is in Excel spreadsheet format and contains depth in meters below seafloor and temperature in degrees C. The data set was generated as part of the project called SEKT - Sector collapse kinematics and tsunami implications. Funding was provided with NSF award OCE19-26729.
