Processed gridded multibeam bathymetry data from the Alaska-Aleutians area acquired during Sikuliaq cruise SKQ201816S (2018)
This data set was derived from Kongsberg EM302 multibeam sonar data acquired during the 2018 R/V Sikuliaq cruise SKQ201816S (Co-Chief Scientists: Anne Sheehan and Doug Wiens. Investigators: Anne Becel, Anne Sheehan, William Danforth, Emma Myers, Peter Haeussler, Geoff Abers, Aubreya Adams, Emily Roland, Susan Schwartz, Donna Shillington, Spahr Webb, Douglas Wiens, Lindsay Worthington). The data files were processed in QPS Qimera using XBT sound velocity profiles collected locally and gridded at 100m cell resolution for the entire survey. The data files are in GMT-compatible netCDF grid format and contain bathymetry data that has been processed with the help of the Apply-to-Sail participants: Samantha Hansen, Natalia Ruppert, Tiegan Hobbs, Amanda Price, Jefferson Yarce, Heather Shaddox, Bethany Essary, and Shannon Hendricks. The data set was generated as part of the project called the Alaska Amphibious Community Seismic Experiment (AACSE). Funding was provided by NSF award OCE16-54568.
