Leg 2 of a rapid response survey of coastal and inlet regions near Galveston, TX, following Hurricane Ike in 2008, this R/V Acadiana survey collected CHIRP data around Bolivar Peninsula. ACAD0802 was Leg 1.?The objective was to compare the results from marine geophysical surveys conducted before (ACAD0801) and just after the passage of the hurricane. Funded by the Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin.
