EPR:12N-16N_Cormier Gravity:Anomaly:MantleBouguerResidual
Gravity Residual Mantle Bouguer Anomaly (RMBA) data, East Pacific Rise, 12N-16N (2011, investigator Marie-Helene Cormier)
Residual mantle Bouguer anomaly data for the East Pacific Rise between 12N-16N. The data set is derived from gridded gravity free-air and is based upon an igneous crust 6.5 km thick, an upper mantle layer 40 km thick and a 3-D density structure. The data was gridded at an interval of 0.5 arc minute (about 900 m) using a continuous curvature spline algorithm. The data set is cited in Cormier et al., 2011. The data file is in netCDF:GMT grid format and was generated as part of the project called Kinematic and Gravity Study of the Northern East Pacific Rise and Its Flanks: Propagating Ridges and Melt Supply. Funding was provided by NSF award OCE96-29903.
