Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from the Southern Ocean acquired during the Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1409 (2014)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Echosounder Sonar, Navigation system, Fluorometer, and Thermosalinograph during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1409 conducted in 2014 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Kevin Arrigo). These data files are of JGOFS (ASCII) format and include Infrared Radiation, Visible Radiation, Conductivity, Temperature, Bathymetry, Salinity, Meteorological, Fluorescence, and Navigation data and were processed after data collection. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input.
