Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the PNG MARGINS Focus Site acquired during the Melville expedition VANC30MV (2004)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Bell Aerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter during Melville expedition VANC30MV conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Charles Nittrouer). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Dispersion, Cycling and Burial of Organic Carbon in a River-Dominated Margin, Processes Controlling Depositional Signals of Environmental Change in the Fly River Sediment Dispersal System, and Transition season cruise, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-03351 and OCE02-19919.
