Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9708 (1997)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter and Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9708 conducted in 1997 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Douglas Toomey). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Singlebeam Bathymetry and Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Constraining Mantle Flow, Melt Supply, and Lower Crustal Structure Between the Clipperton and Siqueiros Fracture Zones from a Seismic Undershoot Experiment, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE01-17715, OCE01-18383, OCE01-18450, OCE01-18597, OCE02-24903, OCE96-33264, OCE96-33814, and OCE96-34132.
