Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9601 (1996)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system, Varian Inc. V75 Magnetometer, and BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9601 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Thomas Henyey). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field, Magnetic Field, and Singlebeam Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Geophysical Investigation of a Modern Continent-Continent Collisional Orogen: The Southern Alps, New Zealand, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): EAR92-19496 and EAR94-18530.
