TN236 CurrentMeasurement
Ridge2000:Funded
Processed current measurement data collected at the Lau basin during Thompson cruise TN236 (2009, investigators Anna-Louise Reysenbach, Margaret Tivey)
This data set was collected with an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) device as part of the projects called Diversity and distribution of thermoacidophiles at deep-sea hydrothermal vents, and Using thermocouple arrays to investigate temporal and spatial microbial colonization in actively forming hydrothermal vent deposits. Funding was provided by NSF award OCE07-28391, OCE07-51839 and OCE08-52469.
