Sidescan sonar image data from the southern Mariana convergent margin collected during Meville cruise COOK06MV (2001, investigator Patricia Fryer)

The sidescan sonar data set was collected using the MR1 towed sled during 2001 Melville cruise COOK06MV. The image files are in JPEG format. The data set was acquired as part of a project called Subduction Factory Studies in the Southern Mariana Convergent Margin: Side-Scan, Geophysical and Petrologic Investigations, and funding was provided by NSF grant OCE99-07063.
