Processed multichannel seismic reflection data from the Discovery Rift and Terror Rift, Ross Sea (NBP2402, 2024)
A seismic survey of the Discovery and Terror Rifts in the Ross Sea was conducted using the Scripps high-resolution portable seismic system during R/ V Nathaniel B. Palmer cruise NBP2402, in February 2024. These seismic reflection data files have been processed by bandpass filtering, deconvolution to remove source bubble pulse, velocity analysis, normal moveout, and stack. The files are in SEG-Y format. Navigation is embedded in the SEG-Y file headers, with UTM zone 58S. This data set was generated as part of the project called Gas Hydrate Contribution to the Ross Sea Carbon Budget; Shallow Sediment to Water Column; Present and Future. Funding was provided with NSF awards OPP20-44391 and OPP20-44453.
