Processed magnetometer data acquired near-bottom along the frontal thrust of the Cascadia Margin with MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV2)

This processed magnetometer data set was collected with MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV2) on mission 20230822m2. The data file is in ASCII format and contains merged magnetometer, navigation, attitude and altitude data using the processed multibeam sonar data. The AUV survey missions were conducted during R/V Rachel Carson cruises along the Cascadia Margin. Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI and the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
