AT50-21 Bathymetry
Near-bottom multibeam bathymetry gridded data collected by AUV Sentry at 9°50'N, East Pacific Rise (AT50-21, 2024)
A near-bottom multibeam bathymetric survey using AUV Sentry along the East Pacific Rise near 9°50'N was done in 2024 during R/V Atlantis research cruise AT50-21. The survey used a Kongsberg EM2040 echosounder that was mounted on AUV Sentry. Data from dive 539 was edited and gridded at 0.25m resolution. In the file name, YBW is the name of the vent field, and NSEW reflects that data from all survey directions was included. The grid is in GMT-compatible netCDF format. The survey was supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation awards OCE18-34797, OCE19-49485, OCE19-48936, and OCE19-49938.
