Near-Bottom HOV Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature Data from the East Pacific Rise at 9N Spreading Center Segment, acquired during R/V Atlantis expedition AT37-12 (2017)
This data set was acquired with a Navigation System,Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-49 FastCAT CTD and Aanderaa Data Instruments 5331 Oxygen Optode Sensor on Submersible Alvin during R/V Atlantis expedition AT37-12 conducted in 2017 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Stefan Sievert, Investigators: Dr. Stefan Sievert, Dr. Jeremy Rich, Dr. Craig Taylor). These data files are of NDSF SCC Text File (ASCII) format and include Conductivity, Navigation, Oxygen, Pressure, Sound Velocity and Temperature data that were processed after acquisition and sampled at 1Hz. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Environmental Drivers of Chemoautotrophic Carbon Production at Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents - Comparative Roles of Oxygen and Nitrate. Funding was provided by NSF Award: OCE15-59198.
