AT26-15 Bathymetry
Raw Near-Bottom HOV Bathymetry Data from the Gulf of America Gulf, acquired during R/V Atlantis expedition AT26-15 (2014)
This data set was acquired with an Imagenex 881 Scanning Sonar on Submersible Alvin during R/V Atlantis expedition AT26-15 conducted in 2014 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Cindy VanDover, Investigators: Dr. Cindy VanDover, Dr. Clifford Cunningham, Dr. Erik Cordes, Dr. Rob Kulathinal). These data files are of Binary format and include Bathymetry data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the projects: Collaborative Research: Connectivity in western Atlantic seep populations: Oceanographic and life-history processes underlying genetic structure; Ocean Acidification: Physiological and genetic responses of the deep-water coral, Lophelia pertusa, to ongoing ocean acidification in the Gulf of Mexico. Funding was provided by NSF Awards: OCE10-31050, OCE12-20478.
