Map of processed bathymetry data with AUV navigation track line for data acquired near-bottom in 2021 from the frontal thrust of the Cascadia Margin with MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV2)
This map shows processed bathymetry overlain with the navigation track line for MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV2) mission 20210801m2 collected in 2021. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2021 cruise on R/V Rachel Carson along the Cascadia Margin Cruise Chief Scientist - David Caress, Charles Paull; Project PI - Jenna Hill and investigators: Jannet Watt, Jenifer B. Paduan and Eve Lundsten (MBARI)). Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI and the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
