CascadiaFrontalThrust_MBARI Conductivity, Navigation, Pressure, Salinity, Temperature, Velocity:Sound
Processed CTD data acquired near-bottom along the frontal thrust of the Cascadia Margin with MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV1)
This processed CTD data set was collected with a SeaBird SBE-49 FastCat system on MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV1) on missions 20210728m1, 20210730m1, 20210801m1, 20210815m1, and 20230817m1. The data files are in ASCII format and contain processed conductivity, temperature, pressure, salinity, sound velocity and potential temperature data. The AUV survey missions were conducted during R/V Rachel Carson cruises along the Cascadia Margin. Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI and the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
