CascadiaFrontalThrust_MBARI Conductivity, Navigation, Pressure, Salinity, Temperature, Velocity:Sound
Processed CTD data acquired near-bottom in 2021 from the frontal thrust of the Cascadia Margin with MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV1)
This processed CTD data set was collected with a SeaBird SBE-49 FastCat system on MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV1) on missions 20210728m1 and 20210801m1, in 2021. The data file is in ASCII format and contains processed conductivity, temperature, pressure, salinity, sound velocity and potential temperature data. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2021 cruise on R/V Rachel Carson along the Cascadia Margin (Cruise Chief Scientist - David Caress, Charles Paull; Project PI - Jenna Hill and investigators: Jannet Watt, Jenifer B. Paduan and Eve Lundsten (MBARI)). Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI and the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
