Key species abundance and distribution data (GeoTIFF report figures) from the Long Island Sound Phase I area
These GeoTIFF image files are from the Phase IIB final report and provide percent cover data for the three key species (Haliclona, Mytilus, Crepidula) identified in the project comparing data from previous surveys (Phase I, 2012 and 2013) to more recent surveys (2022 and 2023). Files with names referring to final report Figure 3-17 show the locations of the 2012-2013 SEABOSS surveys that observed no Haliclona (black circles) along with the location of PISSAH and diver surveys that recorded Haliclona presence. The Figure 3-23 files show a historical comparison of the precent cover of both Mytilus and Crepidula from the 2012 SEABOSS survey to the modern PISSAH and diver surveys. Funding was provided by the Long Island Sound Cable Fund Seafloor Habitat Mapping Initiative administered cooperatively by the EPA Long Island Sound Study and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
