Hill-shaded bathymetry (GeoTIFF image format) from central Long Island Sound, LIS Phase IV seafloor mapping, 2022
This bathymetry data was collected in support of the Long Island Sound Cable Fund Seafloor Habitat Mapping Initiative, Phase IV, for an area located south of New Haven, CT. Data acquisition was with a Kongsberg multibeam sonar system EM2040P MKII using R/V Connecticut and R/V Seawolf during August, September and December 2022. The data was cleaned and gridded at horizontal resolutions of 1m, 2m and 5m using geodetic datum NAD83 (2011) UTM Zone 18N and the NAVD-88 vertical datum. The files are in GeoTIFF image format.
