Moho interface models (netCDF format) from a 2008 Yakutat terrane southern Alaska seismic study (MGL0814)
These Moho interface models were derived from a seismic velocity model generated for the Yakutat terrane in southern Alaska. The MCS/OBS seismic survey was done in 2008 during Langseth cruise MGL0814. The interface grids are in GMT-compatible netCDF format with grid x=latitude, y=longitude, z=depth in km. The grid called moho_flattest_masked_ll.grd represents the inversion for the flattest (most horizontal) interface that fits data. The grid called moho_smoothest_masked_ll.grd is the inversion for the smoothest interface that fits data. The data set was generated as part of the ST. Elias Erosion/tectonics Project (STEEP), with funding provided through NSF award EAR04-08584.
