Microseismicity catalog from Rainbow Massif, Mid-Atlantic Ridge, 2013-2014 using a machine learning approach
This seismic catalog is derived from short-period ocean-bottom seismograph data, recorded for 9 months from May 2013 – June 2014 as part of the MARINER experiment. The data file is in ASCII format and the header line describes the contents. This catalog contains 69,001 relocated events, obtained using the deep-neural-network-based seismic arrival-time picking method called PhaseNet. Event times are classified as UTC-based datetime objects. Depths are in kilometers below seafloor. Frequency index scores for events are included. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE-0961680 and OCE-2104437.
