Processed EM304 Multibeam Sonar Data acquired during USV Saildrone Surveyor SD1200-0012-13
This data set was acquired with a Kongsberg Maritime EM304 Multibeam Sonar during USV Saildrone Surveyor SD1200-0012-13 in 2022. The goal of the expedition was to collect ocean mapping and environmental data in unexplored water around the Aleutian Islands identified as high priority for NOAA, BOEM, the U.S. Geological Survey, and the broader federal Interagency Working Group on Ocean Exploration and Characterization. All work conducted will contribute to the Seascape Alaska regional mapping campaign. Data are of MBSystem-compatible format (GSF) and processing was led by the UNH Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping. These data were included in the Global Multi-Resolution Topography (GMRT) Synthesis (version 4.2). Data were acquired as part of the NOAA Ocean Exploration Cooperative Institute (OECI), and funding was provided by NOAA award NA19OAR4320072.
