CORK-II Pressure Data from Hole U1382A along the western flank of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (2011-2014)
This time-series data set was acquired with Paroscientific 8B7000-2 Pressure Gauges at CORK U1382A from October 2011 to April 2014. This type of CORK installation is described by Edwards et al., 2012. Data were retrieved during Maria S. Merian expedition MSM-37 in 2014 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Heiner Villinger). The data file is of Text File (ASCII) format and includes Pressure and Temperature data. Data were acquired as part of the projects: EAGER Collaborative Research: The Basalt-Hosted Biosphere Observatory at North Pond, Advanced Instrumentation for Transformative Science and Collaborative Research: The Basalt-Hosted Biosphere at North Pond: A Subseafloor Mid-Atlantic Ridge-Flank Microbial Observatory. Funding was provided by NSF grants: OCE09-46795 and OCE10-60855 (Principal Investigator: Dr. Keir Becker: Collaborating Investigators: Dr. Heiner Villinger and Dr. E. E. Davis).
