Raw Near-bottom Temperature Probe Data acquired during the Atlantis expedition AT11-09 (2004)
This data set was acquired with a Temperature Probe on the HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT11-09 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Karen Von Damm; Investigator(s): Dr. Karen Von Damm, Dr. Ruth Blake, and Dr. Anna-Louise Reysenbach). These data files are of multiple formats and include Temperature data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Continued Mathematical Modeling of Seafloor Hydrothermal Systems, Integrated Studies of Biological Community Structure at Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents, and Temporal Variations in Hydrothermal Fluid Chemistry at the 9-10N East Pacific Rise (PIRATES-I), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-21974, OCE03-27126, and OCE03-27261.
