Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0808 (2008)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system, Navigation system, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, and Thermosalinograph during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0808 conducted in 2008 (Chief Scientist: Dr. David DeMaster). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Meteorological, Navigation, Temperature, Visible Radiation, Infrared Radiation, Bathymetry, Fluorescence, Conductivity, and Salinity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT06-36773 and ANT06-36806.
