Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data from the Woodlark Back-arc Basin acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9203 (1992)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9203 conducted in 1992 (Chief Scientist: Dr. John Mutter). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Swath Bathymetry and Acoustic Backscatter data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Woodlark-D'Entrecasteaux Project: Deep Seismic Imaging and Seismotectonics of Extensional Processes in a Province of Active Rifting, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE90-12730.
