Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Images from the Palmer Deep, Antarctica acquired during the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0107 (2001
This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0107 conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Eugene Domack). These data files are of PDF format and include Bathymetry images that have been processed. Data were acquired as part of the projects: Global Climate Change and the Evolutionary Ecology of Antarctic Mollusks in the Late Eocene and Development of a Luminescence Dating Capability for Antarctic Glaciomarine Sediments: Tests of Signal Zeroing at the Antarctic Peninsula, and funding was provided by NSF grants: ANT00-03060, ANT99-08828, and ANT99-09665.
