EW9708 Bathymetry:Swath
Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9708 (1997)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9708 conducted in 1997 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Douglas Toomey). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Constraining Mantle Flow, Melt Supply, and Lower Crustal Structure Between the Clipperton and Siqueiros Fracture Zones from a Seismic Undershoot Experiment, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE01-17715, OCE01-18383, OCE01-18450, OCE01-18597, OCE02-24903, OCE96-33264, OCE96-33814, and OCE96-34132.
