AT11-13 Bathymetry
Ridge2000:Funded
Processed Near-bottom Bathymetry derived from Scanning Sonar Images from the Juan de Fuca Spreading Center acquired during the Atlantis expedition AT11-13 (2004)
This data set was acquired with a Imagenex 881 Scanning Sonar on the HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT11-13 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Deborah Kelley; Investigator(s): Dr. Vicki Ferrini and Dr. Deborah Kelley). These data files are of PDF format and include Bathymetry images and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Determining the Limits to Life in Submarine Hydrothermal Systems, Next Generation Flux Meters For Enhanced Geochemical And High-Resolution Real-Time Benthic Flux Monitoring, and Towards Quantifying Elemental Fluxes and Fluid Origins from Margins Using Novel Submarine Instrumentation, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-21900, OCE02-41998, OCE02-42034, OCE02-42089, OCE02-42091, OCE04-25645, and OCE04-26109.
