AT11-13 Bathymetry
Ridge2000:Funded
Processed Near-bottom Bathymetry Data (ASCII format) derived from Scanning Altimetric Sonar Data from the Juan de Fuca Spreading Center acquired with HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT11-13 (2004)
This data set was acquired with an Imagenex 881 Scanning Sonar on the HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT11-13 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Deborah Kelley). These data files are of Text (ASCII) format and include Bathymetry data that were merged with navigation and processed after data acquisition. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Determining the Limits to Life in Submarine Hydrothermal Systems, Next Generation Flux Meters For Enhanced Geochemical And High-Resolution Real-Time Benthic Flux Monitoring, and Towards Quantifying Elemental Fluxes and Fluid Origins from Margins Using Novel Submarine Instrumentation, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-21900, OCE02-41998, OCE02-42034, OCE02-42089, OCE02-42091, OCE04-25645, and OCE04-26109. This data was cited by Glickson et al., 2007.
