Ice Contact Boundary Points and Ice Stream Grounding data, BADEX project, Baffin Bay, Greenland margin
This ESRI-formatted shapefile presents interpretations of the maximum depth of grounded ice during the Last Glacial Maximum, detailed in Klotsko et al. (in prep), are determined by the ice contact boundary (ICB) geomorphic feature. Depth of ICB points and grounded ice stream features on Greenland outer troughs, as well as the proposed depth of the Boothia-Lancaster Ice Stream, were extracted from AR76-01 multibeam data or other publicly available bathymetry and seismic reflection data from Baffin Bay. Cruise name or data set source accompanies each point. No depth offset corrections were made for data set discrepancies, but these were few and within a few meters. For ICB points, the geomorphic feature just upslope of the ICB is included. The data set was generated for the project The Baffin Bay Deglacial Experiment (BADEX). Funding was provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation under awards OCE21-12498, OCE21-12529, OCE21-12536, OCE21-12547, and OCE23-00114.
