Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Images from the Ross Sea, Antarctica acquired during the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0306 (2004)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0306 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Bruce Luyendyk; Investigators: Dr. Bruce Luyendyk and Dr. Lou Bartek). These data files are of PDF format and include Swath Bathymetry and Sidescan images that have been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Antarctic Cretaceous-Cenozoic Climate, Glaciation, and Tectonics: Site surveys for drilling from the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf, and funding was provided by NSF grant: OPP00-87392 and OPP00-88143.
