Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Images from the Ross Sea, Antarctica acquired during the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0306 (2004)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0306 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Bruce Luyendyk; Investigators: Dr. Bruce Luyendyk and Dr. Lou Bartek). These data files are of PDF format and include Swath Bathymetry images that have been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Antarctic Cretaceous-Cenozoic Climate, Glaciation, and Tectonics: Site surveys for drilling from the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf, and funding was provided by NSF grants: OPP00-87392 and OPP00-88143.
