Processed multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data at the Axial Seamount (TN383, 2020)
Multibeam swath bathymetry data was acquired with a hull-mounted Kongsberg EM302 sonar system during Thompson cruise TN383 as part of the Axial 2020 survey (chief scientist Bill Chadwick). These processed swath files were derived using MB-SYSTEM tools and are compatible with MB-SYSTEM format 59. The data set was generated as part of the project called Advancing Deformation Monitoring Methods at Axial Seamount. Funding was provided from NSF awards OCE17-36882, OCE17-36926, OCE17-37019.
