Processed depth-migrated seismic reflection data across the Aleutian arc from Langseth ALEUT cruise MGL1110 (2011)
Three 2-D line segments from ALEUT cruise MGL1110 have been processed by the USGS to the point of migrated depth and used for figures in the von Heune et al., 2020 G-Cubed publication. The processing was done using ProMAX seismic data processing software on Linux/Redhat hardware. Processing steps and navigation details about these processed lines are given in the accompanying PDF file called "Data_Description_Processing_Flow_Navigation_Notes". These processed seismic files are in SEG-Y image format and navigation is the same as that in the P190 processed navigation files. However, these processed SEG-Y data files are subsets of the original lines and do not have the navigation coordinates stored in their trace headers. The processed lines can be located along the original track lines by using the table in the PDF document. The original seismic data was collected in 2011 with the LDEO Multi-Channel Seismic system during Langseth cruise MGL1110 as part of the ALEUT (Alaska Langseth Experiment to Understand the megaThrust) project. Chief Scientist on the cruise was Donna Shillington. Refer to Cruise MGL1110 for complete acquisition details.
