CHIRP data collected in West Bay (west of Galveston Bay), Texas, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1999 (LS99WB)
Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this 1999 R/V Lone Star survey collected CHIRP data in West Bay (west of Galveston Bay), Texas. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment supply. Data archiving funded by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM). CHIRP navigation was supplied by a line log correlating time to latitude/longitude with navigation interpolated to the shots in between.
