Ocean bottom seismometer (OBS) data in the Barbados subduction system, acquired during the R/V Maurice Ewing survey EW9207 (1992)
The Barbados 3-D Survey was a UTIG-led collaborative study with the University of Hawaii and University of California Santa Cruz. They collected 102 parallel seismic lines, 3 OBS stations and one long regional dip line. The purpose was to examine fluid distribution within the shallow parts of the Barbados subduction system and provide context for previous drilling results. Funding was provided by NSF grants OCE91-16172 and OCE91-19336.
